The Gunsite Zeroing Target is an 18" X 30" paper target. Sold by the each.

This unique rifle zeroing target has 2 sets each of 1”, 2”, and 3” dots to be used for field work to obtain a 1 MOA (minute of angle) group. Since 1 MOA = 1.047” at 100 yards, the 1”, 2” and 3” dots make it simple and easy to zero at 100yds, 200yds and 300yds respectively. The ¼” grid pattern covering the whole target eliminates the guesswork, and the need for a ruler. The target size is 18” x 30”. Check your zero and test yourself and your gear to stay in a 1 MOA group (field work). This target can only be purchased at Gunsite Academy.

As an avid hunter and outdoor guide, I have used quite a few different targets, but none of them could get done what I was really wanting. One of my goals was to not have to have a tape measure or a ruler with me every time I went out to shoot. I also wanted to know if my groups were staying sub MOA from 100 yds to 300 yds. The two sets of dots were necessary when I was wanting to first acquire a good zero and then test the zero on a fresh dot. For all these reasons, I designed this ¼” Grid Zeroing Target. It fulfilled my needs as a shooter, hunter and instructor, and it will fulfill your needs as well. Gunsite adopted this target and has been using it in classes for over 10 years.

It is simple and easy to use by following these steps.

Start with the 1” dot at 100 yds, right or left side, doesn’t matter, and see how much you are off using the ¼” grid. Then make any adjustments. Continue to shoot and adjust, shooting the same dot, until your group is sub MOA. Then move to the other 1” dot and verify your sub MOA group. Nice Job!

Next move to 200 yds and shoot the 2” dot with your 100 yd zero. See how much you are off using the ¼” grid (you should be impacting below the 2” dot). Make your adjustments and shoot the same dot. Verify your adjustment was spot on using the ¼” grid. Now move to the other dot and go for your sub MOA group. Nice Job! You did it again!

Finally, move to 300 yds and repeat the same steps you just did with the 1” dot and 2” dot, this time shooting the 3” dot. After any adjustments, you are ready to go for your sub MOA group at 300yds. Don’t get nervous, your zero is good. But don’t forget the basics, natural point of aim, breathing, focus on the reticle and PRESS the trigger. Again, Nice Job! You just shot a sub MOA group at 300yds! Now you’re ready for your next hunting trip!
